Rediscover Ashland 2006 is happening all summer long

  • Remember to encourage your customers to participate in the Treasure Hunt. They need to turn in a completed Treasure Hunt Log to 15 Alden Street by 12 noon on the day of any summer concert to qualify for the prize drawing that night, or turn it in by 12 noon on September 15 to qualify for the Grand Prize on Ashland Day.
  • We're publicizing through various media that 15 special ABA gift certificates -- each worth $20.06 -- are being given out at 15 (secret) business locations around town, at various times during the summer. Sponsored by the Rediscover Ashland 2006 Committee and the Ashland Business Association, their purpose is to encourage more residents to try the Treasure Hunt. (As the public doesn't know exactly WHERE the gift certificates are hidden, this should result in more traffic for ALL businesses giving treasures throughout the summer.) Learn more about ABA gift certificates.
  • If you're not currently part of the Treasure Hunt, OR if you have summer specials you'd like publicized for free on the Web site, you can still upgrade your listing on the Participants Page by contacting Publicity@AshlandBusinessAssociation.com.
  • You can bring a table and set it up for free at any or all of the remaining free summer concerts at Stone Park -- to give out treasures and promotional materials and/or to meet residents. (If you're planning to offer food or drink of any kind, contact Mark Oram of the Board of Health at 508-881-0114 x681, or e-mail moram@ashlandmass.com.) For summer concert dates, times, and bands see the Calendar of Events.
  • If you're donating to the Grand Prize or other prizes for the Treasure Hunt winners, your name will be announced whenever one of your items is given away at a summer concert or on Ashland Day. You'll also be publicized on the Prizes page. We're looking for additional items, large or small. Call Nadine at 508-881-6680.

Ashland Day

  • Help out with a donation, or sign up for a table at Ashland Day, which is at Stone Park from 10 to 4 on Saturday, September 16. This event provides great exposure for your business! Contact Isabelle Harrison at 508-881-1647.
  • The Rediscover Ashland 2006 Grand Prize will be displayed at the ABA booth and given out at 3 p.m. To help staff the booth, contact Lisa Giargiari at 508-881-3838.
