ABA meeting at the Library:
Tuesday, May 1, starting at 7:00 p.m.
66 Front Street (downstairs, via side door)
Meetings are free of charge, and are open to all business owners, executives, and managers

Presentations/Speakers:

• Will Kilburn of Globe West, and Jim Kleinkauf of The MetroWest Daily News will speak about advertising and getting articles published in their respective papers
• Jason Rutherford of Federated Church of Ashland will speak on behalf of the Church and its services
• Paul Monaco, a member of the Ashland Board of Selectman, will be present at the meeting to provide information (only) regarding the override issues in the upcoming election

"Business After Hours"
David Teller of Ryan Insurance Agency, Inc., will host the "business after hours" in May.  It will be held at the library immediately following the meeting. Anyone interested in hosting a “business after hours” at the library or your place of business, please call Dianna Hopper at 508-736-3724.

American Legion Event
The Carnival is coming to the new Ashland High School from June 26 – July 1. They are expecting 5 to 6,000 visitors. ABA members interested in having a booth at the Carnival can contact Bob Lindsey at 508-233-8944.  Interested members must sign up by June 15th with a fee of $100 for 4 days.

Rediscover Ashland
We are still in need of volunteers to head this committee.  If you can help coordinate this event or need more information before committing, please call Bob DePeron at 508-816-3312 or Linda Herring at 508-881-7213. Unless volunteers step forward very soon, RA 2007 is in serious jeopardy of not happening!

Residential Welcome Baskets
The ABA welcome baskets will be distributed to new Ashland residents this month.  We are still in need of volunteers to help deliver the baskets.  If you are interested, please contact Kou Hang at 508-881-1130.
