• Claudette Rowe – Ashland KnowledgePoints will give an overview of the services that they provide and share some useful tips on Time Management for parents and students.  Theses tips can also be applied to your business and personal lives.
• Linda Herring – Art by Herring Design Services will announce a new DVD about Ashland, coming out in time for the Holidays.

"Business After Hours"
Art by Herring Design Services and Ashland KnowledgePoints will be hosting the Business after Hours at the library immediately following the meeting.

Welcome Baskets
We are continuing to deliver welcome baskets to new residents of Ashland. The baskets are being assembled as needed so it’s not too late for you to participate. If you want to contribute to the basket, please contact Kou Hang at 508-881-1130.

The First Annual ABA Golf Tournament
The First Annual Ashland Business Association Golf Tournament was held at Hopkinton Country Club on Monday, October 15th, and was a resounding success! It was a beautiful day for golf and the buffet dinner was excellent. A raffle and auction were held during dinner with the most exciting moment being the announcement of the 3-day Cruise to the Bahamas grand prize winner! Due to the generosity of the participants and sponsors, the ABA will be able to use the proceeds raised to benefit both the residents and businesses of Ashland. Please mark your calendars for the 2008 tournament, which will be held on Monday, October 13th, at the Hopkinton Country Club. 

ABA Holiday Potluck Dinner Meeting
We are in the process of reserving a place to hold the December meeting. The tentative dates are Wednesday, December 5th, or Thursday, December 6th. Stay tuned for the details.

Membership “ Callathon”
The steering committee will be holding a membership “ callathon” at its next meeting on Friday, November 16th.  We can use some help so stop by and make a few calls (location to be announced). We will be contacting registered members to encourage them to become more active and to update our e-mail list.
